El Salvador—2026

El Salvador ~ this time, with our daughter. Every time we visit, we feel strongly that we’ll call this place ‘home’ someday soon. It was beautiful spending a week exploring with just the 3 of us, and getting to see Karin’s family is always so lovely. We met new friends and watched nearly every sunrise and sunset.

Prior to this trip, Karin had purchased two new film cameras as his other two had officially died on him ~ a Nikon FE2 with a 28mm lens, and a Minolta X700 with a 50mm lens. It was also his first time working with 200-speed film, which he fell in love with. This trip’s film made us strongly believe that Karin’s photography needs to be utilized by brands and hotels. It was incredible to get the film developed and see all his hard work and patience paying off.
