making art out of scraps

You can print with nearly anything. For this project, I was shown how to make a print with the back of a cardboard sketchbook.

I love making abstract art, and the color red has always captivated me. I remember wanting to make something that looked old, and viewing some cave drawings which then sparked the idea for this print.

I ended up using chipboard and fell in love with the way it imprinted the composition (as well as the grooves of the chipboard) onto the paper.
